The publisher, as well as responsible for the site ricercasma.it, is Dr. Paolo Pisano, resident in Trieste (Italy), and also affected by spinal muscular atrophy type 3. He graduated in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences and is graduating in Mathematics at the local University. Thus he has not a specific medical and scientific training and his work for the site is limited to the collection, selection and translation of the information obtained according to the criteria specified in the "Note on Sources". He can be contacted via e-mail by filling out the form in the contact page.
