The SMA National Conference organized by the Associations ASAMSI (Association for the Study of Childhood spinal muscular atrophies) and Famiglie SMA was held in Rome on 5 and 6 September.
SMA: Research, Rehabilitation and daily life is the title chosen for the 2009 edition of this event, which every year holds an increasing importance for the whole community of SMA families.
Interventions in the program were many and very important, such as to provide participants with the detailed updates on these three aspects - research, rehabilitation and daily life - which concern so closely the life of a person with SMA and his family.

Here is the list of those who have touched purely scientific arguments; for some are available the slides presented during the Conference.
